Straight and Winding Stairs
A staircase or flight of stairs can consist of one or several sections of straight stairs connected by platform landings or winders. A single straight flight has the advantage of a quick ascent or descent. Often the floor plan of a home will not allow for a straight flight. Necessary turns in a staircase can add a more inviting feature to a straight stair system.
